For the Family Tree exhibition at the Sordoni Art Gallery, I developed a visual identity that reflects themes of connection, ancestry, and natural cycles, inspired by the exhibition’s focus on cultural roots and personal histories across diverse geographic locations. The branding draws heavily from natural forms, particularly the visual language of tree rings, which symbolize growth, time, and intergenerational links. A central design element is the individual tree ring mark, used both as a graphic focal point and as a unifying motif across materials. This mark represents not only the unique identity of each artist but also the shared human experience of growth and continuity.

The overall aesthetic blends organic textures with earthy, muted tones, layered with subtle overlays of natural imagery and abstract patterns to evoke depth and a sense of timelessness. Typography is elegant yet grounded, reinforcing the contemplative nature of the exhibition. Deliverables included posters, in-gallery signage, and a family activity guide, all designed to engage audiences with a cohesive and thoughtful visual experience that mirrors the exhibition’s exploration of family, place, and memory.
