For this project, I created the branding and visual identity for Memories & Inspiration, an exhibition at the Sordoni Art Gallery featuring works from the Kerry and C. Betty Davis Collection of African American Art. The visual identity was inspired by the exhibition’s core themes of heritage, resilience, and cultural storytelling, drawing from both historical African American artistic traditions and modern design sensibilities. The typography is bold and refined, reflecting strength and clarity, while the color palette and imagery highlight the richness and diversity of the artwork. The branding was designed to complement the powerful narratives within the exhibition, using clean, impactful layouts that honor the work without overwhelming it. Gateway banners, wall graphics, and promotional materials were all created to create a cohesive, respectful, and engaging visual experience that draws viewers into the depth and emotion of the show.

This was the first exhibition I created the branding for and I designed all print collateral and digital materials from the social media banners to the title wall
